Amazing suggestion by Catterfly during our Florence visit. We went to this quaint little village called Greti in the Greve region in Chianti, Tuscany. We prebooked our lunch and tasting tour with Castello di Verrazzano. It was a 45min bus ride from Florence to this small shop. The shopkeeper then dropped us to this 7AD castle which was 2 Km away from the main highway. Had an amazing cold lunch followed by 5 different types of wines. Post lunch the guide gave us a smallView of the castle and took us through the entire wine making process. A cup of coffee was ready before we departed for Florence. All in all amazing experience and outstanding views. PS - not a wine person but finished a bottle that day 😜
