Catterfly offers online travel-related services through our own websites and mobile apps. This single privacy statement applies to any kind of customer information we collect through both of the above platforms or by any other means connected to these platforms (such as when you contact our team by email or other means).
Thanks for using our products and services (“Services”). The Services are provided by CatterFly GmbH. (“Catterfly”), located at Tobelrainli 10, 5416 Kirchdorf AG, Switzerland. By using our Services, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Usage of Catterfly service: By using Catterfly services, you agree to comply with standard terms and conditions as laid out here without any misuse. For example, no interference with our Services (or electronic or any other means, which may have adverse business impact on our sales or operations), or try to access them using a method other than the interface and the instructions that we provide offline (on request basis only). You may use our Services only as permitted by law, including applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations. We may suspend or stop providing our Services to you if you do not comply with our terms or policies, or if we are investigating suspected misconduct.
Ownership and IP Protection: Using our Services does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in our Services or the content you access. You may not use content from our Services unless you obtain permission from its owner or are otherwise permitted by law. These terms do not grant you the right to use any branding or logos used in our Services. Don't remove, obscure, or alter any legal notices displayed in or along with our Services.
Partnership Content: Our Services may display some content that is not directly owned by Catterfly. This content is the sole responsibility of the entity that makes it available. We may review content to determine whether it is illegal or violates our policies, and we may remove or refuse to display content that we reasonably believe violates our policies or the law. But that does not necessarily mean that its our legal obligation to do so.
Communication with the user: In connection with your use of the Services, we may send you service announcements, administrative messages, and other information. You may opt out of some of those communications which are optional in nature, but we reserve the right to send any legal communication to your chosen means of communication to indemnify against any legal measures that must be taken to ensure ongoing operations and services of Catterfly.
Many of our Services are available on mobile devices. Do not use such Services in a way that distracts you and prevents you from obeying traffic or safety laws.
Your CatterFly Account
You may need a Catterfly Account in order to use some of our Services. If you are using a CatterFly Account assigned to you, different or additional terms may apply and Catterfly reserves the right to able / disable your account as needed to provide continued services.
To protect your Catterfly Account, please keep your password confidential. You are responsible for the activity that happens on or through your Catterfly Account. Try not to reuse your Catterfly Account password on third-party applications. If you learn of any unauthorized use of your password or Catterfly Account, follow these instructions.
Personal Data Collected
Catterfly collects and uses information you provide to us. When you make a Trip Reservation, you are (at a minimum) asked for your name and email address or telephone number.
Depending on the Trip Reservation, we may also ask for your home address, payment information, date of birth, current location (in the case of on-demand services), the names of the people travelling with you and any preferences you might have for your Trip (such as dietary or accessibility requirements). In some cases we will ask you to share passport information or a driving licence and signatures.
There are other instances where you'll provide us with information, as well. For example, if you're browsing with your mobile device, you can decide to allow Catterfly to see your current location or grant us access to some contact details. This helps us to give you the best possible service and experience by, for example, showing you our city guides, suggesting the nearest restaurants or attractions to your location or making other recommendations.
If you create a user account, we'll also store your personal settings, uploaded photos, and reviews of previous bookings there. This saved data can be used to help you plan and manage future Trip Reservations or benefit from other features only available to account holders (such as incentives or other benefits).
You may also choose to share trip photos or reviews to our representatives by email or text, in which case Catterfly reserves the right to use such information on social media with your explicit consent.
Automatic Data collection
Whether or not you end up making a Trip Reservation, when you visit our websites or apps we automatically collect certain information. This includes your IP address, the date and time you accessed our services, and information about your computer's hardware and software (such as the operating system, the internet browser used, software/application version data and your language settings). We also collect information about clicks and which pages have been shown to you.
If you're using a mobile device, we collect data that identifies the device, as well as data about your device-specific settings and characteristics, app crashes and other system activity. When you make a Trip Reservation using this kind of device, our system registers how you made your reservation (on which website), and/or which site you came from when you entered the Catterfly website or app.
When you link your Catterfly user account to your social media account, you might trigger exchanges of data between Catterfly and that social media provider. You can always choose not to share that data.
Trip Providers may share information about you with Catterfly, too. This could happen if you have support questions about a pending Trip Reservation, or if disputes or other issues arise about a Trip Reservation.
Collection and Usage of Data:
We use the information collected about you for a variety of purposes. Your personal data may be used in the following ways:
Trip Reservations: We use your personal data to complete and administer your Trip Reservation including sending you communications that relate to your Trip Reservation, such as confirmations (including, where applicable, providing you with a proof of purchase and/or payment), modifications and reminders. In some cases, this may also include processing your personal data to enable online check-in with the Trip Provider or processing personal data in relation to possible damage deposits.
Account facilities: Catterfly users can create an account on our website or app to view and manage Trip Reservations
Marketing activities: We use your information for marketing activities. These activities include:
Using your contact information to send you regular news about travel-related products and services. You can unsubscribe from email marketing communications quickly, easily and at any time. All you need to do is click on the ‘Unsubscribe’ link included in each newsletter or other communication, or manage your preferences via your account settings.
Based on your information, individualised offers might be shown or sent to you through authorised communication channels.
Any photos, videos or reviews you share with us might be used in our marketing materials or shared on our website or app with your explicit consent
Communicating with you: There might be other times when we get in touch, including by email, by chatbot, by post, by phone or by texting you. Which method we choose depends on the contact information you’ve previously shared. We process the communications you send to us. There could be a number of reasons for this, including:
Responding to and handling any requests you have made.
When you use our services, we might send you a questionnaire or invite you to provide a review about your experience with Catterfly or the Trip Provider.
We also send you other material related to your Trip Reservations, such as how to contact Catterfly if you need assistance while you’re away, and information that we feel might be useful to you in planning or getting the best out of your Trip. We might also send you material related to upcoming Trip Reservations or a summary of previous Trip Reservations you made through Catterfly.
Even if you don’t have an upcoming Trip Reservation, we may still need to send you other administrative messages
In case of misconduct, we may send you a notice and/or warning.
Market research: We sometimes invite our customers to take part in market research. Please see the information that accompanies this kind of invitation to understand what personal data will be collected and how that data is used.
Improving our services: We also use personal data for analytical purposes and product improvement. This is part of our commitment to making our services better and enhancing the user experience.
Customer reviews and other destination-related information: During and after your Trip, we might invite you to submit a review. By completing a review, you’re agreeing that it can be displayed on our websites, on our mobile apps, on our social media accounts and social media apps. This is to inform other travellers about the quality of the Trip Service you used, the destination you have chosen or any other experiences you choose to share.
Where needed under applicable law, Catterfly will obtain your consent prior to processing your personal data, including for email marketing purposes or as otherwise required by law.

Data sharing with third parties
In certain circumstances, we’ll share your personal data with third parties. These third parties including
The Trip Provider: Details we share can include your name, contact and payment details, the names of the people accompanying you and any other information or preferences you specified when you made your Trip Reservation. Trip Providers may also ask for additional personal data, for instance to provide additional services, or to comply with local restrictions. If available, please read the Privacy Statement of the Trip Provider to understand how they process your personal data.
Connectivity Providers: Please note that certain Trip Providers may need us to share your personal data with a contracted Connectivity Provider in order to be able to finalise and administer your reservation.
Third-party service providers: We use service providers from outside of Catterfly to support us in providing our services, such as market research, Insurance claims and billing collection services.
We offer a free app for a range of different mobile devices, as well as versions of our regular website that have been optimised for browsing on a mobile and tablet.
The app and mobile website process the personal details you give us in much the same way as our website does.
With your consent, we may send you push notifications with information about your Trip Reservation. You can also choose to grant us access to your location data or contact details in order to provide services you’ve requested. If you upload pictures to our platform, these pictures may include location information (known as metadata) as well.
Note that the use of social media features can result in the exchange of personal data between Catterfly and the social media service provider, as we describe below. You are free not to use any of the social media features available to you.
We have integrated social media plugins into the Catterfly website and app. This means that when you click or tap on one of the buttons (such as Facebook’s ‘Like’ button), certain information is shared with these social media providers. If you’re logged into your social media account when you click or tap one of these buttons, your social media provider may relate this information to your social media account. Depending on your settings, they might also display these actions on your social media profile, to be seen by others in your network.
We maintain social media accounts. Whenever you connect with Catterfly through social media, your social media service provider may allow you to share information with us. If you choose to share, your social media provider will generally inform you about which information will be shared.
Security and retention procedures
We use appropriate business systems and procedures to protect and safeguard your personal data. We also use security procedures and technical and physical restrictions for accessing and using the personal data on our servers. Only authorised personnel are permitted to access personal data in the course of their work.
We’ll keep your personal data for as long as is necessary to enable you to use our services or to provide our services to you (including maintaining any Catterfly user accounts you may have), to comply with applicable laws, resolve any disputes and otherwise to allow us to conduct our business, including to detect and prevent fraud and/or other illegal activities. All personal data we keep about you as a Catterfly customer is covered by this Privacy Statement.
Functional cookies required for our website and app to function so you can create an account, sign in, and manage your bookings and other related functions.
Analytical cookies to measure and track how our website and apps are used. We use this information to improve our website, apps and services.
Marketing cookies to integrate social media into our website and apps. This allows you to like or share content or products on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat and LinkedIn.
Privacy and Copyright Protection
Catterfly’s privacy policies explain how we treat your personal data and protect your privacy when you use our Services. By using our Services, you agree that CatterFly can use such data in accordance with our privacy policies.
We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement and terminate accounts of repeat infringers according to the process set out in the Swiss Copyright Act.
We provide information to help copyright holders manage their intellectual property online. If you think somebody is violating your copyrights and want to notify us, please visit our contact page.
Your Content in our Services
Some of our Services allow you to upload, submit, store, send or receive content. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in that content. In short, what belongs to you stays yours.
When you upload, submit, store, send or receive content to or through our Services, you give Catterfly (and those we work with) a worldwide license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works (such as those resulting from translations, adaptations or other changes we make so that your content works better with our Services), communicate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute such content. The rights you grant in this license are for the limited purpose of operating, promoting, and improving our Services, and to develop new ones. This license continues even if you stop using our Services.
If you wish to access and remove content that has been provided to this Service, you may do so by getting in touch with us on the Contact Us page. Also, in some of our Services, there are terms or settings that narrow the scope of our use of the content submitted in those Services.
Make sure you have the necessary rights to grant us this license for any content that you submit to our Services.
If you have a CatterFly Account or use any of our Services, we may display your name, photo, and actions you take on CatterFly or on third-party applications connected to your CatterFly Account (such as reviews you write and comments you post) in our Services, including displaying in ads and other commercial contexts.
If you submit feedback or suggestions about our Services, we may use your feedback or suggestions without obligation to you.
About Software in our Services
When a Service requires or includes downloadable software, this software may update automatically on your device once a new version or feature is available. Some Services may let you adjust your automatic update settings.
CatterFly gives you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable and non-exclusive license to use the software provided to you by CatterFly as part of the Services. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling you to use and enjoy the benefit of the Services as provided by CatterFly, in the manner permitted by these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software, unless laws prohibit those restrictions or you have our written permission.
Modifying and Terminating our Services
We are constantly changing and improving our Services. We may add or remove functionalities or features, and we may suspend or stop a Service altogether.
You can stop using our Services at any time, although we’ll be sorry to see you go. CatterFly may also stop providing Services to you, or add or create new limits to our Services at any time.
Our Warranties and Disclaimers
We provide our Services using a commercially reasonable level of skill and care and we hope that you will enjoy using them. But there are certain things that we don’t promise about our Services.
OTHER THAN AS EXPRESSLY SET OUT IN THESE TERMS OR ADDITIONAL TERMS, NEITHER CatterFly NOR ITS SUPPLIERS OR DISTRIBUTORS MAKE ANY SPECIFIC PROMISES ABOUT THE SERVICES. FOR EXAMPLE, WE DON’T MAKE ANY COMMITMENTS ABOUT THE CONTENT WITHIN THE SERVICES, THE SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OF THE SERVICES, OR THEIR RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, OR ABILITY TO MEET YOUR NEEDS. WE PROVIDE THE SERVICES “AS IS”.
SOME JURISDICTIONS PROVIDE FOR CERTAIN WARRANTIES, LIKE THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE EXCLUDE ALL WARRANTIES.
Liability for our Services
WHEN PERMITTED BY LAW, CatterFly, AND CatterFly’s SUPPLIERS AND DISTRIBUTORS, WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUES, OR DATA, FINANCIAL LOSSES OR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF CatterFly, AND ITS SUPPLIERS AND DISTRIBUTORS, FOR ANY CLAIMS UNDER THESE TERMS, INCLUDING FOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US TO USE THE SERVICES (OR, IF WE CHOOSE, TO SUPPLYING YOU THE SERVICES AGAIN).
IN ALL CASES, CatterFly, AND ITS SUPPLIERS AND DISTRIBUTORS, WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE THAT IS NOT REASONABLY FORESEEABLE.
Business uses of our Services
If you are using our Services on behalf of a business, that business accepts these terms. It will hold harmless and indemnify CatterFly and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claim, suit or action arising from or related to the use of the Services or violation of these terms, including any liability or expense arising from claims, losses, damages, suits, judgments, litigation costs and attorneys’ fees.
Terms & Conditions for Catterfly Art Products
Final handmade painting may vary from displayed image.
All-inclusive price with standard shipping through Indian post. For urgent delivery, additional charges applicable. International shipments may be subjected to additional local tax at the point of delivery and determined by local rules and regulations of that country. These are charged directly to the customers by the shipping agency and Catterfly bears no responsibility for this.
Paintings are IP of Artist and Catterfly.
Unauthorised reproduction of paintings and unlawful actions will result in strict legal action.
Cancellations may be possible before a standard product is shipped. However, it will not be possible for customised orders.
For all travel bookings, cancellations, refunds and rescheduling is subject to specific terms and conditions of that particular plan.
These terms and conditions may vary for specific plans based on date of bookings, and these are shared at the time of final confirmation and payments.

About these Terms
We may modify these terms or any additional terms that apply to a Service to, for example, reflect changes to the law or changes to our Services. You should look at the terms regularly. We’ll post notice of modifications to these terms on this page. We’ll post notice of modified additional terms in the applicable Service. If you do not agree to the modified terms for a Service, you should discontinue your use of that Service.
If there is a conflict between these terms and the additional terms, the additional terms will control for that conflict.
These terms control the relationship between CatterFly and you. They do not create any third party beneficiary rights.
If you do not comply with these terms, and we don’t take action right away, this doesn’t mean that we are giving up any rights that we may have (such as taking action in the future).
If it turns out that a particular term is not enforceable, this will not affect any other terms.
